Ramakrishna Beach

One of the loveliest beaches on the East Coast, the Ramakrishna beach is a favorite beach resort for tourists visiting Vishakhapatnam. Both the Ramakrishna beach present a picturesque and beautiful scenic beauty. Its serene waters and tranquil atmosphere, the beach offers a lovely vista of the countryside. In the past few years, it has gained immense popularity amongst the tourists. The vast stretch of blue waters juxtaposes the sight of bustling activities of the city on the opposite side. It is Vizag's favorite evening sojourn. An aquarium, the Kali temple, Visakha Museum, Roadside restaurants offering seafood are the other attractions.

Favorable for sunbathing and surfing, the shoreline is dotted with boats and ships on one side. Many private companies are planning to set up sport complexes. The vast stretch of water and the accompanying calm is in sharp contrast to the scurrying activity on the road and the apartments on the other side. On the shores, it is a virtual fair with a colorful crowd of tiny tots, young and old having a fun filled time on the sand bed. The beach is at its best at dawn and dusk. It has plenty of visitors looking for a nice outing on the sea front. This beach occupying the largest part of the seafront, is a great spot to spend time leisurely.
