Komaravelli The Komaravelli Devasthanams priest formally launches the fire walk carrying the deity. The special attraction of the jatara was `fire-walking' . Red, hot coals are prepared by burning huge firewood prior to the start of jatara by the priests. Komaravelli is holy place where devotees worship Komaravelli Mallana Swamy. There is no train facility here, and it can only be reached by road. Komaravelli is situated just before 10 km from Siddipet while going from Hyderabad/Secundrabad. Priests from the Komaravelli Mallikarjuna Devasthanams in Warangal district arrived to perform special pujas like pedda patlanalu and other rituals. |
