Jain Temple

The Jain temples are as it is very beautiful and the Jain Temple in Warangal is a classic example of this beauty in its own uniqueness.  The temple is embellished with beautiful images of Thirthankaras. The 5ft high image of Mahavira is entirely carved of Jade. It was the capital of the glorious ancient Kingdom of Kakatiya. The place still contains the relics of the exemplary works in the spheres of architecture and engineering. The place is peaceful and somber.

The most interesting attraction of the temple is a 5 ft high image of Lord Mahaveera which is completely carved out of Jade. They are meticulous about maintaining the principles of life and they strictly avoid violence. The temple is dedicated to Lord Mahaveera. Jains are great lovers of calmness and the only thing they seek is enlightenment.

The 2,000-year-old temple has the 5 feethigh image of Mahavira, and is adorned with beautiful figures of Tirtankaras. The Jain temple of Mahavira, is a popular place of worship for Jains. One witnesses a wonderful work of art in this temple. In Kolanupaka, it stands pretty for over two thousand years now. It has been a spectator to the history of the place.
