Chote Hazrat ki Dargah

The Chote Hazrat ki Dargah dates back to the period of Asif Jahis. You need to climb roughly 400 stairs or more to reach the place of worship. The row of arches on the hill leading to the top is a wonderful sight. On the 8th and 10th days of Muharram, people of all religions come here from all over the country and abroad too. Later Ibrahim Shah construct a mosque just beside the dargah. This along with other mosques like the Jama masjid, the Mecca Masjid and the Charminar all reflect fine specimens of Qutub Shahi architecture. He carved out the impression and places it in a shrine.

A large number of Muslims flock this place to pay their offerings during the 8th and 10th day of Muharram, which is a prominent festival of the Muslims.  It was built during the period of the Asif Jahis in memory of Hazrat Ali, the son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad. He was surprised and he had the impression hewn out and installed in a shrine, then built an arch over the spot.
